Hi,we are currently in Bangkok.... What is the best way to get from Bangkok to Koh Tao? By bus? train? What are the cheapest and easiest options and how do we go about booking transport etc? Any recommended accommodation for when we arrive at Koh Tao? Any help will be massively appreciated, thanks a lot!

Lomprayah has a bus/boat package from BKK to Ko Tao that is quite good. You can this directly here http://www.lomprayah.com/E/booking_buffet_1.aspx
The other option is to take the train to Chumphon and then jump on a ferry from there.
