My husband & I are looking for a 3 nights stay in Ko Lanta, in mid September 2012. We are looking at some quiet times with access to a nice beach, some visits to a few restaurants with great food and a few drinks closeby, and a trip or two to nearby islands.
I have zeroed in on these two resorts - Houben and Crown Lanta. Any suggestions on the better one?

Both resorts look nice but the southern beaches are better. Khlong Nin down to Kantiang bay. Lanta Ilmare Resort is a solid place to stay with restaurants nearby.

The Houben is down at Kantiang Bay so I'd choose that one if you want to pay th e extra money.
