    Hi everyone,

I'm leaving London for Bangkok today...! WOOHOO!!! I will probably stay there for up to 4 days max before heading to Chiang Mai. I was keeping an eye on the flooding situation and wondered if it's ok to visit Sukhothai now? Just wondered if I should stop there before CM? I'd love to see it if it's still a viable option but don't obviously want to head there if I'm going to be stuck because of the weather.

    Thank you
    Andy x

Might be a bit too soon to go there. Even when the waters subside there's usually a lot of cleanup work to do. Come to Chiang Mai first, it's been unusually sunny lately.

Thanks, Captain_Bob. I thought that might be the case. I'll prob head straight to CM after Bangkok then and see if it's worth going back to Sukhothai later on.

    Much appreciated.

Good plan. This video is about 10 days old but thought you might enjoy the mini-tour

Wow. Gorgeous perspective but sad about all that flooding. Thanks for the video link!

I am here now and it's beautiful! Visited central, north and west ruins today and it was cool and amazing weather this morning!

safety is hardly an isue with these floods-its more the mess and general ignorance of farang about what to do with them.
