Going over to Thailand in Feb 2013. Going for 3 weeks but will be spending most of the time in the south. It will be my first time so haven't really got a clue where to visit. Want to spend most of my time on the islands. Need some suggestions for south east and south west islands. Not too touristy and mainly focused on snorkeling and some sight seeing.
Cheers

Try Krabi (not an island but close to many) and Trang islands like Mook, Ngai.

Hi
Koh Lanta is pretty quiet aswell, there's nice beach and good for take boat to another islands for diving/snorkeling like go to Koh Mook, Koh ngai, Koh Kradan in Trang, or boat to Phi Phi for day trips
Or you can stay at Koh Mook is beautiful island also.
