Hey guys,
What's the best way to get from Krabi to Yangon?
Is the overland journey worth it with scenery and meeting fellow travelers etc?
Or am I best to make it quicker and easier and just catch a flight?
Happy travels

You can't go overland to Yangon from Thailand. You'll have to fly.

Yep - Tilapia is right. Overland crossing points don't give unlimited country access. To get to Rangoon you have to fly (well maybe a boat - but I doubt it).

Overland from Krabi to Bangkok by bus and train (connect with trains at Surat Thai) can be enjoyable if you stop along the way for a few days. Prachuap Khiri Khan and Ban Krut are nice stops along the gulf coast. Bangkok to Yangon you have to do by air.

Sorry ... I should have expanded a bit on my early morning, pre-coffee response.
Captain Bob's suggestion is a very good one. Two great spots to stop in along the way to Bangkok.
Another option is to go south to Kuala Lumpur and fly from there, but that would take a bit longer and may cost more.
MADMAC ... I've looked into cargo boats along the coast between Kawthaung and Yangon. No deal. Not yet, anyway. Can go up the coast from Yangon, though, if one can find a shipping company that's willing to take you.

I guess only means, in this case, best as well.
