arriving bkk in the afternoon, is there any chance to get to Aranya P same day
without overnight in bkk ?if not could you suggest nice guesthouse not far from Mochi station ?

be SPECIfic-waht time is lafternoon?
Take arl to end=Phyathai, then taximeter or any bus you can find to the giant behemoth of Thailands largest busstation- MOchit MAI=2. its NOT at the BTS Mochit (thats the old one in fact-hence the 1 and 2). BUSes to Aran (the tipical newbie posting here seems to believe that anyone goes by train=nonsense) run ev 30/40/50 mins till around 18.00-maybe even after.
OR from ARL take BTS 1 stop north till Vict Monument-and ask if there are VANS=minibus to Aran now-they go till at least Sra Kaew, from where there are also plenty of onward buses-but not late evening.
