Hi,
We are travelling to a backpack tour with my friends to Thailand-Cambodia in Nov for 3 weeks, and now we are working on our itinerary.
The first version of our itinerary is the following.
Bangkok-Kanchanaburi-Ayutthaya-Bangkok-Krabi-Phi phi island-Bangkok-Siem reap.
Could you help me that which island is better, Ko phi/phi or Ko Samui?
Could you recommend me the best option for travelling inside in the country?
And is there anybody who travelling in the same route in that period?
Also, any advise appreciated

Well that doesn't sound bad for 3 weeks, but you're only going to Angkor right? I would say stick around the Krabi beaches and forget about Koh Samui & Phi Phi. I prefer to Travel by train in Thailand.

Bangkok- Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya -Bangkok?
- You can do Bangkok Ayutthaya for day trip.
- You can do Bangkok Kanchanaburi for day trip.
Could you help me that which island is better, Ko phi/phi or Ko Samui?
- In November Koh Phi Phi for sure , Samui its in rainy season [img]smileys/smile.gif[/img]
Could you recommend me the best option for travelling inside in the country?
- By Bus > You can take Bus at MoChit or EkaMai (Both can go there by BTS)
- By Train > Hua Lampong station (By MRT)
(Bus,Train can go to Ayutthaya,Kanchanaburi)
- By Plane > Airasia for cheap flights (Go to Krabi by fly)
In Bangkok BTS (skytrain), MRT (subway)

Our route plan is the following:
So, this is our route itinerary for 3 weeks.
Bangkok-Kanchanaburi-Ayutthaya-Bangkok-Krabi-Phiphi island-Bangkok-Siem reap-Phnompen-Sihanoukville-Koh Rong Island-Sihanoukville-Bangkok
In my first post i did not finish our trip, but now i did.
But this is only a plan so any advise appreciated.

Hi,
I'm in Thailand at the moment, and doing a month travelling. We did Cambodia too. Our itinerary was,
Bangkok-Siam reap-phnom penh-sihanoukville-fly fr Phnom Penh back to Bangkok-ko Samui-krabi-ko phi phi and back to Bangkok. Hope you have a good time!!
