I was wondering if the planning I've done for this trip is decent. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Especially suggestions for things to do in Chaing Mai. Also, any Island recommendations. Thanks
Wednesday 9 Depart Chicago AM
Thursday 10 Arrive Bangkok Midnight
Friday 11 Chill and check out Bangkok and take the 7:35pm night train to Chaing Mai ($25)
Saturday12 Arrive Chaing Mai 9:55am
Sunday 13 Chaing Mai
Monday 14 Chaing Mai
Tuesday 15 Chaing Mai
Wednesday16 Leave CM 3:30pm (AIR $45) to BK,
Leave BK 6:40(AIR $30) Arrive 7:15 Surat Thani Leave Surat Thani 11:00pm Night Ferry($15)to Kao Tao Arrive 8:30am
Thursday17 Arrive Kao Tao 8:30am
Friday 18 Kao Tao
Saturday19 Kao Phagan
Sunday 20 Half Moon Party Kao Phagan
Monday 21 Leave Kao Phagan 12pm ($15 ferry)arrive

We are on a tight schedule so I wanted plan something that would work. It's a rough idea of what we want to do. Should we go to siem reap instead of chaing Mai?

As I said, over planned and too rushed. Are you on crack? I get dizzy just looking at this - lol - Chill in BK? for like an afternoon? Why go to so many different beaches? Chill at one - relax.

Probably not going to be able to come back for a while. I'm a scuba diver and I want to dive different spots.

That would seem more of a reason to stay in one place. Travelling around takes time you've hardly given yourself any time to do any diving!

Once in Kao Tao, Kao Phagan, and once at Kao Phi Phi. I don't see the problem. I'll still be relaxing. I don't might the travel in-between.
