Does anyone know the cost of a private ferry between Ko Phangan and Ko Tao?
Need a transfer between the islands during the day.

a few 1000-depends on the boat-you also have to pay for the return. The more 1000 as the more vulnerable and white=greeney you look.
BTW-there are likely many more regular boats as you think-the nice thing of TH here is that there are many things NOT on this www-like we all used to accept just a few years ago.

Thanks for that info, captainbkk.

The thing is we would arrive on Koh Phangan around 3pm in the arvo, and we miss all the main ferries to Koh Tao. What are the odds of getting a ferry say around 4 in the afternoon?
Or do you think we would be better off just taking a ferry from Chumphon instead? As opposed to taking a train all the way from Surat Thani and then back-tracking?
Thanks again!

If you are coming to Koh Tao then get off the ferry at Chumphon and get the boat from there.
A private boat from KPN to Koh Tao is going to cost you a small fortune !
