Hi, somebody knows if there is more beautiful beaches in Thailand or Sri Lanka ?... I´m in Thailand now but may be i will don´t have time to go to the beach here and then i´m going to Sri Lanka, but if beaches are better in Thailand i can change my plans !!!.... thank you for any advice !!

I think the Sri Lankan civil war impacted negatively on the tourist trade over there and the beaches that do exist are sparsely populated. Attacks on female tourists are on the increase apparently according to Wikitravel and if you're a girl, it might not be the best place to go at the moment. See: http://wikitravel.org/en/Sri_Lanka

I don't know where you are at the moment in Thailand, but you can fly there quite cheaply with either Nok Air or Air Asia from Don Mueang airport in Bangkok. Here are sites for both:

I think Sri Lanka was a bigger beach destination in the 70s than Thailand - but then all the troubles/civil war put paid to its tourist industry. I was there about 10 years ago - and there are some very nice beaches but the infrastructure has seen better days.
Overall I think Thailand would be a lot better destination for beaches - from developed to backpacker to deserted. Your already on a very good website about thailand with lots of info about its beaches - so have a look around - or check out
