I'm leaving for Koh Tao end of July with my family (5 persons) and I'm looking for a family friendly simple guesthouse. As I don't have a big budget I would like to find a family bungalow but I only find bungalows for two or three persons. What do you recommend? Which beach is the best for the kids? We don't really like crowded noisy places...
Thank you for answering!!!
I think the best choice for family with children is Taa Toh Lagoon (Bay) on the south of island. It is a very quite and safe place - no big rocks, no big waves, shallow water. Admission fee is 20TBH as far, as I remember. But I think, if you will stay in the one of nearest resort/bungalow it will be free for you.
Also, there are several villas on Sairee beach, but there it can be quite noisy.

We stayed at Koh Tao Cabana which was just beautiful and they have large bungalows. Very family friendly, the staff seem to adore children too.
It is at the end of Sairee beach so nice and quiet on a safe beach.
Koh Tao Cabana may be at the mid-upper price range but well worth the money.
Highly recommended

Aside from those links mentioned by Vlad, you'll find all the info on Travelfish as well -- we recently updated all our Ko Tao coverage.
