I will be arriving in Bangkok on Jan 14 and flying out Feb 26 (approx 5 weeks)

I want to take advantage of the free Visa entry (30 days + 14 days upon reentry)
I want to see Thailand and Laos for sure. Maybe Cambodia.
What is the best way to do this? Do the beaches and southern Thailand first for 2-3 weeks, then pop into Laos for a week and back into Northern Thailand for a 1-2 weeks?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've already looked into some of the suggested itineraries
Thanks

If you fly into Thailand (depending on your nationality) you'll get 30-days visa free stay. I'd use that to head south first, then north, then see a bit of Laos for a week or so (say enter at Huay Xai then slow boat to Luang Prabang then Vang Vieng then Vientiane then back into Thailand -- can be done comfortably in ten days --, then back overland into Thailand, which will give you another 14-days, and you should be set.
Cheers
