Hi all, I want to try a bit of sailing around Phang Nga, Phi Phi, Kai Nai and Kai Nok, Koh Rang Yai or wherever is good! Anyone experienced in this and able to recommend a good tour with a skipper (I've never sailed before). I'll most likely be by myself, or with one other friend. Open to joining existing groups. Would be great to have a good skipper who can show me the ropes a bit. Objective is to - see the islands, explore beaches, learn a bit about sailing, take in scenery.

In the absence of other replies:

I've seen a lot of similar questions on travel forums over the years. Most replies suggest making your way to Phuket boat harbour and looking for a yacht needing crew.
On a bigger Andaman scale - lotsa people suggest the yacht harbour on Langkawi in north-west Malaysia is a good place to sign on as crew for yachts heading north into Thailand's Andaman.
