So sad when you read about something like this.
According to Bangkokpost.com, two British cyclists on a world tour have been killed in a road accident in Thailand. They were struck from behind by a pickup truck and then run over. The driver's excuse is he bent down to pick up something and didn't see either cyclist. The report can be found here: http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/336374/british-cyclists-die-in-chachoengsao
Their own site with a plotted map and images of their journey can be found here: http://www.twoonfourwheels.com/

Sadly riding a bike of any kind in Thailand is very dangerous because of idiot drivers like this. Woeful excuse, probably drunk, speeding and a total fw. No doubt he will get off without any serious penalty.

The drivers excuse is he's a moron who doesn't know how to drive. Welcome to a long list of Thai drivers...
