Hi-
I need help in deciding what tours to go on in Chiang Mai & Rai. I have about 6 days in total and I would really like to see the elephants, trek, golden triangle, see some hilltribes and anything else that you may have suggestions for. Are there any tours that specifically go from Chiang Mai and stay in Chiang Rai (that don't return to Chiang Rai?
Thanks

If you're doing an organised trek and want to visit the golden triangle, you're best to organise it from Chiang Rai. There's frequent bus connections between the two.
Give exacto's Chiang Mai trip report a read for ideas on stuff to do in Chiang Mai and I'd suggest doing a three day trek out of Chiang Rai.
