    Hi
Partner and I, with 13 and 15 y o got flights for August and starting to have a few thoughts about where to go. Idea is to give kids first taste of a bit of indendent travel even though we only have 15 days. So question really is whether it is too ambitious to do both the North (Chiang Mai for a few days) as well as chill on an island in the South for a few days towards the end. Didnt really want to fly internally to save some money so we can enjoy bit more luxury at end. Any tips / advice appreciated. Was thinking of doing night trains to save a bit of time travelling. Want them to get a taste of as much as possible but not wear them out rushing.

Flights are cheap like $40 pp. See Air Asia or Nok Air.

    BKK 3N
    Chiang Mai 5n
    Samui 5n

No problem seeing north and south, just don't try to see too much.
