Bangkok Hotel

Posted by melig on 2/4/2013 at 19:56

Hi,
I will be flying into Bangkok around 7:00 PM and need to leave the next day for a 10:00AM flight. What would be a nice hotel that would be close to the airport?

Thank you!

I think that people are too bored about answering this as you did not do your proper homework.
WHICH airport. What is ''nice'' for you- meaningless term for HTls. Budget? Minimum standard? Willing to travel (taxifarex2 drives up nay seemingly low price). Sites like tripadvisor are made for that- tipical overfussy midclass and worry about every+anything style.
USer? Nomal people think thats arr by 19.00

hi melig,

there are several threads on the message board about hotels near the airport. have a look at this one to get started:

keep in mind too that taxi fares to/from the airport are relatively inexpensive in bangkok, so that may open up your options too. good luck and let us know what you eventually decide. cheers.

Exacto
That thread is a bit out of date now.
The Queen's Garden hotel has been renovated and turned into apartments and the flight to Cambodia now goes from Don Mueng.
There are now two flights to Phnom Penh from Bangkok. As well as the 15.20 flight there is now one at 07.05.

Does anyone know if it would be difficult to get a taxi to Don Meung from Bang Sue at around 05.00 to catch that flight?

The Best Western Premier Amaranth - really very nice for an airport hotel near BKK

(Bangkok has 2 airports - which one do you mean?)

The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel! so it can be very convenient for you to catch your flight however the value may be a small amount on top of other airport hotels
