Hi
I'm new to the forum and am hoping someone can help me out here.
My girlfriend and I are planning our holiday of a life time after a tough year.
We have got flights into Bangkok in the 2nd week of August and are leaving 3 weeks later, during which we want to fly to samui to spend some time on the chain of islands a lean to suba dive.
Then we want to fly to seam reap and see Angkor Wat, then back to bangkok and home.
My question is does anyone know the most economical way of doing these 3 flights?
I've read about the discovery airpass but don't think we can do the Samui > Seam Reap bit.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could do all this cheaply please?

Welcome, erdanan!
You have good itinerary, especially scuba diving near Samui. I suggest to visit Koh Tao (small island near Samui) too.
Of course, there is no direct fly from Samui to Siem Reap. But if you buy discovery airpass you can fly to Siem Reap via Bangkok.
To get discovery airpass from Bangkok Airways you need at least 3 flights.
So, for you:
(1) BKK-Samui
(2) Samui-BKK
(3) BKK-SiemReap
(4) SiemReap-BKK

Alternatively, you can get from Samui to Surat Tani, then fly with AirAsia (http://www.airasia.com/site/en/home.jsp) SuratTani-Bangkok and Bangkok-PnomPenh, then go to SiemReap by bus. It will be cheaper, but longer, of course.

Oops, forgot :)
You can return from SiemReap to Bangkok same way (direct fly with Bangkok Airways or cheap fly with AirAsia via PnomPenh) or you can return to Thailand on the ground, via Poipet. But national Road N6 (SiemReapd - Poipet) is really crazy :)
