Re-entering Thailand after triple entry used
Long time no post!
I've been in Thailand quite a while now and I'm loving it
I recently rented an apartment in Chiang Mai and I want to stay here for another year or so to learn Thai.
My triple entry runs out in a couple
Months (after extension)
I plan to go to Nepal for 1 month, then re-enter Thailand on a 30 day visa and buy myself a 12 month education visa through a school.
Will I be able to re enter Thailand problem free after my visa has expired?
If not, should I get my ED visa BEFORE going to Nepal?
Thank you in advanced guys!

Assuming you leave Thailand before your existing tourist visa expires I don't see a problem in what you're suggesting.
I'm not up on Ed visas, but if they require you to leave the country to process (as is the case with Non ImmBs) then it may be worth doing the paperwork before you go to Nepal to save you a trip out to say Vientiane (though check the embassy in Kathmandu can do the pencil pushing).

I have had a few positive replies now and I think I'm maybe worrying a little too much.
I'm just trying to get my paperwork together in time.

No problem re-entering Thailand visa-exempt. Your previous visa bears no relevance once it expires. Make sure the school you sign up with provides all necessary paperwork for your Ed-visa, then you'll have to go to somewhere like Vientiane (closest option from CM) to get the actual visa.

Awesome, thanks Captain Bob.
A few of my friends are at the school I want to attend. Seems pretty legit.
