How Far?

    Hi All, If I fly into Surat Thani Airport, how far is it to where the ferry leaves from for Koh Phangan? And what is the best method of getting there? Also how long is the ferry ride and the cost? Cheers, Tim

    Boats go from both the Surat pier and out at Don Sak - which pier, the cost and the time taken depends on which company you use. As far as I know Songserm, Raja and Seatran all run boats out there.

    The Donsak pier is about an hour by bus from Surat and from memory the airport is about 30 minutes out of town...
