    Hi all!

    Just a quick post for anyone like myself who had planned to travel to Chiang Mai by train during september - November

    I have recieved an email from the train company that there will be engineering works being done which means services are cancelled :

    The State Railwayof Thailand (SRT) has maintenance plan for the Northern Line railroad tracksbetween Sila-Art station to Chiang Mai. As the result , SRThas stop train services from Bangkok Chiang Mai for Train No.1 and 13 fromSeptember 16 to October 31,2013 (for 45days). Andother trains as train no.9,109,105,107, and 51 will operate from Bangkok toSila-Art Station only. .Also return fromChiang Mai to Bangkok also stop service for Train no. 2 and 14 from September17 to November 1,2013 (for 45days) ,. Other trains as 12, 52, and 102 will departfrom Sila-Art Station to Bangkok only
