I just talked to someone in Ayutthaya. They said that some low lying areas have seen flooding but most of the city remains dry, including all of the ruins and major roads. Let's hope it stays that way. The blue skies today (at least in BKK) should help.

caption says that many roads in the municipal area are flooded after it rained nonstop from 19-20 Sept, & some roads had to be closed to prevent water churned up by passing vehicles from causing further damage to homes & buildings; although the rain has lessened, flood levels today were even higher due to the amount of water accumulated in ricefields & streams; pray that they can make it through tonight without the rain pouring down again...
