    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me how long it takes to drive from KL to the Thai Boarder or even as far as Chumphon.

    Hi,

    It will take you about 5 hours to reach the Malaysia-Thailand border via the North-South Highway from KL. It'll take you slightly longer if you plan to travel during school holidays or during festive breaks.
