How is Koh Lipe with the GAYS?

    We are hoping to venture down to Koh Lipe over Xmas time but fear that the Muslim religion, which is more prominent in this region, is less excepting. Does anyone have any experience? We had a bad experience at one resort on Koh Pi Pi last Jan - very unusual for Thailand!
