Does anyone have any advice for getting to NST? We will be returning from Koh Pha Ngan and wanted to do a stopover in NST. Do we have to get the bus from Surat Thani or is there a bus running from Donsak ferry port?
P.S. Has anyone stayed in the Nakhon Garden Inn there?

In reply to this question, I would just like to share my info that I gained. After getting off at Donsak pier, there is a desk where you can buy tickets to NST for 130 Baht pp and the journey takes around 2-2.5 hours. It's in a air conditioned minivan but be warned - the bus is packed as full as poss! :)
