Weather info July / August
25th June, 2013
i'm planning a trip to Thailand from mid july to mid august and i'm trying to figure out how much does it rain and for how long
Do you think this itinerary will be feasible?
BKK --> Chang Mai (some trekking + villages) --> Laos --> Luang Prabang by boat from the border --> Phnom Phem (by plane) --> Angkor --> BKK --> Some island in the south
Any suggestion is more then welcome

July/August is considered mid-rainy season, but it usually doesn't rain all the time and in fact can be sunny for days. There's just no way of predicting what you will get so carry an umbrella (to avoid sun as well) and dress light for humid warm weather. Your proposed route is totally doable. Maybe do your island time in the south on one of the louer Gulf coast islands (Ko Samui/Phangan/Tao) which tends to have the best weather that time of year.
