Is there any place to hire a car in Kanchanaburi?

    Cheers,
    Ant.

    Try http://all-inclusive-car-rent.com/?http://all-inclusive-car-rent.com/thailand/kanchanaburi.html
Although it would be easier to just get a car with driver just contact your guest house

As suggested by bkkbill, I'd just work through your guesthouse in Kanchanaburi rather than trying to reserve a car in advance. Most of the cars available are those "toy" 4WD Suzuki style cars -- more than adequate for the area.

Thanks for the responce. As long as cars can be hired in Kanchanaburi thats ok. Now i will decide if I rent one from the airport and drive there and back or, if I get the train there and rent one in Kanchnaburi.

    Cheers,
    Ant.

Last year I rented motorbike (Honda, non-automate) and ride almost 300 km in Kanchanaburi. Visited Wat Tham Khao Poon, bridge over Kwai, Prasat Muang Sing, Tiger temple, Erewan Waterfall and Sirinakarin Dam.
So you really don't needed 4WD car, you can hire simple one :)

Sorry, I don't mean that you need motorbike :)
I want to say that you don't need a 4WD (like Toyota Land Cruiser), simple sedan (like Yoyota Yaris or Corolla) is Ok :)

ahh I got ya. So it is possible to hire a car like a sedan in kan buri then. Thats cool. Im still might just hire one from the airport and drive there as I might use the same car to drive to buriram and back aswell.

Oh well, more planning i think. lol

    Thanks,
    Ant.
