Poipet border crossing

This story may have more political details in it than of interest to your typical traveller, but have a look at the photos! If you're heading to this crossing perhaps reconsider or expect delays (though it's possible tourists are not being affected -- if you've crossed in the past day or two, please let us know...) http://asiancorrespondent.com/123792/over-70000-cambodians-leave-thailand-why/

Here's a more straightforward article just published by Bangkok Post calling the situation at the border "chaos": http://www.bangkokpost.com/most-recent/415456/chaos-at-thai-cambodian-border

Most news media attention has been suddenly diverted to the extremely rare occurrence of sambrown posting on the TF forum. ;)

I am guessing that it is not just Poipet but other border crossings so any reports would be useful

Ahaha yes DLuek my job description has apparently just been expanded... I've been told I have to behave, so let's see how long I last ;)
