Scuba DIving in Koh Tao?
10th July, 2014
Headed to Koh Tao and would love to do my open water certificate. Can anyone recommend a certification course in the area? Looking for friendly guides and a great environment.

Crystal dive are cheap only because of the amount of people doing open water courses. There are a few who specialise in smaller groups but forget their
I'd say one is good as the next

Just left Koh Tao and had a fantastic experience with Scuba Junction.
They're among the smaller places so attention is a lot more personal. I'm already certified (advanced open water) and went on 11 dives which were all great, they were very accommodating and always took care of me and my concerns. I dragged a friend along who did her Open Water certification (they offer PADI and SSI options) and she was very happy with her experience. I met a bunch of good people, had great dive masters taking us around every day and I will definitely recommend them to everybody.
