Good places to stay on Ko Phi Phi with hotwater

  • shore9

I am looking for a good place to stay on Phi Phi, however it seems that most of the places do not come with hot water. Can someone please recommend a good place with hot water for someone on a somewhat limited budget. Sorry to sound cheap, but 1,000 baht is a lot to pay to not even get hot water.

Unfortunately that's how it works on Phi Phi -- it has some of the most overpriced "budget" accommodation in the region.

At least the weather is pretty hot anyway!

Both water and electricity are limited commodities on these islands. Electricity rates on Phi Phi are some of the highest in Thailand, which is one reason aircon and cold beers come at a premium, and water comes out of the ground, from rain tanks in season, or is shipped in, again at a premium. Just keep that in mind.
