    Hi!

We are planning to visit Angkor Wat and then want to go to Ko Maak. Who knows the best connection??? Do we have to go back to Bangkok or is there any other possibility?

I'm assuming you're planning on travelling overland, in which case, check out this story for overland from Bangkok to Siem Reap. When you cross the border into Thailand, deviate from the above by catching a bus to Chanthaburi and then changing for a bus to Trat. From Trat it is a songtheaw trip to the pier and then ferry to Ko Maak.

Sounds a little complicated, but is pretty easy all up.

You will need to overnight in Trat and get the ferry the next morning.
