    I have been to thailand 5 times but never to Phuket. Can you tell me where are the best budget places to stay 400Bht max near the beache or even not so near.Thanks

    This story -- Finding a cheap hotel or guesthouse on Phuket is probably a good place to start.

    Thanks. my 4 year old Rough Guide tells me me to get from Phuket airport to the resorts on west coast only taxis are the option, I hope thats changed. Are there buses to the region?

    There's airport shuttle buses -- price from around 100-150B depending on your destination
