I have been to BKK a number of times, but always used the Northen Bus Terminal. I want to get to Champhon and my guides tell me I have to go to Sai Mai. i would like to get there fast so I need to know where to say. Is it easier to get their if I stay in the Khao San area (god help me) or Hua Lamphong area?

Banglamphoo is closer, but wherever you stay, a cab will get you there fairly quickly.
