    Hello all,

While my trip on Isan in December I visited a temple near Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat). It located near junction highways 2 and 24, between Sikhiu and Nakhon Ratchasima.
This is a very popular place among Thai people because there is the monk sitting many years in deep meditation and big image of this monk made from black stone.
Unfortunately, I can't read Thai but all information was on Thai only.
Here is links to 2 photos:

If anyone know the name of this temple, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Vlad I do not know about this temple, but did you take a photo of the Thai sign? I could translate the name for you.

This black buddha image (actually made from brass) is at Somdet Buddhajarn Toe Phromrungsi's Foundation Park, Korat Province. It's also called Wat (temple) Sawrapong, named after a famous actor who helps setting up this place.

    FonBangkok, thanx you very much!
Very strange that there is no information about this place in internet. At least, i can't find it with search engines...

Guernseystu, thank you for your proposal! Unfortunately, i didn't take photo of the sign (because i was driving a car). But i take photo of informational board next to meditating monk. Here is it:
