Does anyone know if these places will be open for the Easter weekend (March 22-24). And are the open Sundays normally?

Should be. Easter is not a holiday in Thailand. Temples open everyday, even if a certain hall is used for a private ceremony, rest of compound is usually still open. Don't believe anyone who claims that temples 'are closed because it's a Buddhist holy day', on the contrary, such days are when most people turn up to pray & make offerings. FYI the nearest 'Buddha days' (for lack of better translation) will be 21 & 29 March.
