the A3 airport bus will take you to the eastern (ekamai) bus station. the fare is about 100 baht per person. the bus runs from roughly 5 am until 11 pm or midnight. you can board the bus in front of any of the terminals.

if you have more than one person in your group, or if you arrive when the bus isn't operating, a taxi might be your better choice. that's typically a 200 baht fare to town, plus the 50 baht airport service charge, plus tolls if you take the expressways (up to about 80 baht). i hope that helps. cheers.

Well, you can take the train from the airport into town, but then you'll need to get from there to Ekamai. So you could get a train from airport to Hualamphong (train station), then subway from there to Sukhumvit, then change to skytrain to run out to Ekamai then walk to the bus station, but to be honest, I'd just grab a cab from the airport, of the airport bus as suggested by exacto.

    Don't take the train!
Around BKK taxis are best and reasonably cheap 35Baht for 2km then 2Baht per half km.
Train is unrealiable and worse still doesn't always go to the city terminal that staff tell you about! You could find yourself at the Northern Station which is a pain with only tuk-tuks or taxis to go anywhere. Final tip - make sure the taxi starts the meter!

Hi, I'm not advocating that you do this, as the airport bus is definitely the way to go if by yourself, or taxi if 2 or more, but to answer your question at #3, you can get a train to Hua Lumpung, and a number 25 bus from the main road in front of the station will cost about 9 bht to Ekamai. Lot of hassle unless you're virtually penniless.
