Does someone know a nice place to start diving on Koh Tao? I would like to do the open water Padi certification. It would be nice to have the accommodation included in the course fees. There are so many offers that I dont know which one is best.

Thanks for any suggestions.

matthias, you can take PADI OWD course in any dive center on Koh Tao.
Many offers include accommodation (or just discount for accommodation).
For example, when I take AOWD course, I was offered an accommodation 150 bahts / night.

There is a plenty choices on Koh Tao both for courses and accommodation.
Personally me, I can recommend CrystalDive dive center (crystaldive.com) and StingrayDivers dive center (stingray-divers.com). This doesn't mean that other dive centers are "bad". This just mean that I have experience with listed dive centers :)

Koh Tao is a diver's paradise. I hope, you will enjoy staying there.
