Does anyone know if there's a storage facility / locker where I can store by huge backpack for a couple of days? If so, where is it and how much does it cost?
I'm going to be in BKK for a 2-day stopover this week and would rather go into town with my smaller bag only.

Yes you can -- there'd another post about Bangkok airport luggage storage here.
The rate is 100B per bag per 24 hour period.

yes, if you want to left your luggage directly after check out, there is a luggage store same floor next to the check out door. they give you an electric bill with check in time and if you come 10 min. later than 24.hr., they count more.
