I'm traveling to Phi Phi and I want to find out how to get to the pier from Krabi airport?
Any help?
How much should I expect for the transportation?
Do I have to book in advance?
same with the Ferry to Phi Phi Island.

hi, from the airport you can get a taxi inside the terminal. Prices should be fixed and on view at the counter.

Last I heard the taxi fare was about 400.
I also heard the shuttle bus into Krabi town was running reliably these days at about 100baht - I don't think this goes to the pier which is a further 3km or so out of town - but if you get out near the waterfront there are several small travel agents who can sell you a ferry ticket which usually includes free transfer to the pier.
You don't have to book ahead for any of these.
