I am leving for Thailnd in two weeks and I need a swimsuit. I am teaching in Korea right now and they have very few and very expensive bathing suits.
Is it possible/convieniant to get a bathing trunks on Koh Tao? I don't wear speedos because I don't have the figure for it.

Would this extend to larger sizes for women as well? I live in Tokyo and while I'm not huge, I don't exactly have the figure of an Asian woman...
I'm assuming my best bet would be Bangkok, right?

Okay, I had ordered a swimsuit online, but it appears to have been lost and now I am definitely without one. So more than ever I need to find swimmear made for the Western woman in mind.
I've only got one day in Bangkok before I go to Samui, so if anyone could tell me where I could find one, that would be lovely.

I was just in Tao a couple weeks ago and I saw a flyer for a place in Mae Haad that makes custom bathing suits over night! I was tempted but I don't really need one.
