The Travelfish travel board / Thailand / Friendship Beach, Phuket (Vijitt Resort) - good place to stay?

Hi
We're spending 8 nights in Phuket on our honeymoon in January and are looking for somehere that is away from the hue and cry of Patong (very far away).

I work in the travel industry and have been offered a great deal at the Vijitt Resort (http://www.vijittresort.com/index.html) which is opening in September at Friendship beach on Chalong Bay. Everything I've read says it's a good area to visit for the seafood but not a great place to stay. I'm wondering if anyone has stayed in the area and whether you'd recommend it?
