Hi all

I am an Australian waiting in Australia for documents so i can apply for my visa to travel and work in China.
I had planned to stop off in Thailand on the way through but due to the delays this may not happen.
Would the following be safe to do

1 Fly to Thailand and wait for the document(AEL) to arrive (email)
2 Send all documents and passport through the mail to Embassy in Australia once form arrives.
3 Wait for visa passport etc to be sent back through mail to Thailand.

will this work

Cheers
Michael

Besides the post office there are other delivery companies in Bangkok too! (Like FedEx, UPS and DHL.)

Before you send anything off I would make copies of everything.

Reading your post again I just noticed that you say you will be sending off your passport to Australia - I wouldn't want to be in any foreign country without a passport!

Could you take your paperwork and passport to the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok and get your visa from that embassy? http://www.mfa.gov.cn/eng/wjb/zwjg/2490/2491/t14384.htm

Good luck.
