Hi guys,
I leave for Thailand on Saturday, wooohooo :)
I was hoping someone here could help me, We have booked two nights at the Nang Yuan Dive Resort (I've never pre-booked in Asia before)
anyway, the price is supposed to include free boat transfer from Koh Tao. I placed the booking direct with the resort website and got an email asking for payment, and later got a reservation voucher.
However, nowhere on the website does it say where the transfer boat picks up from in Ko Tao, or what time. I tried emailing the booking email addy, which is says to contact with questions, but keep getting a "return to sender--undeliverable" I've also tried the "info" email address, which has not been returned but which they have not replied to.
I wondered if anyone here has stayed on Nang Yuan, and knows where and what time the resort picks up?
I'm getting a bit worried now, as I've no idea, and I have done my share of googling.
The resort is about 15 minutes from Mae Haad pier by longtail boat -- I'd assume they'd pick you up anytime you want as the trip is so short, so perhaps give them a call once you're in Thailand to confirm that.

If you travel on Lomprayah catamarans from Chumpon (owned by the same company) it stops at Nangyaun before Koh Tao, you can get off there. If you end up on a boat that doesn't stop there, there are regular boats to the island from Mae Haad (Koh Tao pier). You can contact Lomprayah (.com?) for more info. If not, longtail is 100baht/person to the island.
Nang Yuan is ok, but you should check out the main island for more of a party. Or come for a dive course with us:

Of course, there's also Easy Divers (also owned by Lonprayah) on Nang Yuan, and they're also a good dive school.
