    Hi.
    I'd like to try meditation for a few days. Can you recommend a temple/monastery or other place?

    The most popular place is Wat Suan Mokkh near Chaya in Surat Thani Province. They do a very good 10 day silent-retreat that starts at the 1st day each month for 1500 Baht.
