Hi,
Does someone know if there is a boat from Trat direct to Bang Bao Beach on Koh Chang?
Otherwise which is the easiest way to get there?

As far as I know, no. Instead you need to take one of the main boats from Laem Ngop to Ko Chang and then take the songtheaw from there south to Bang Bao.

Hi assuming you will be in Trat town itself, it will be easiest to catch a songthaew to Laem Ngop to catch passenger ferry to Koh Chang as Somtam said.Then cheapest and easiest is songthaew to Bang Bao . Also if you are using Bang Bao to step off to other islands Wai,Mak,Kood, etc you have a choice of slow boat for 300-400 thb or fast speedboat for 600-700thb
