Looking for a recommendation for a bungalow on Long Beach, Koh Lanta.
Something in the 600-800 baht range, (or less?).
We'll be there at the begining of March.

For 600B there's Blue Sky on the north end. Basic, might be noisy due to zone bar and funky fish.
Sayang Resort nearby has a few fan doubles for 750 baht. You may want to reserve ahead if possible because these go quick.
Down in the south end of long beach there are more options, but few beachfront. Sanctuary is 800 baht and look at bit sturdier than the usual thatch. Nice balcony. I don't think they take resos. Lanta Marina has big hay-bale types close to the beach. Cool, but the noise on Fri/Sat nights from corner bar might be an issue.
Best deal in my view is the Garden Bungalows at Castaway Resort. 750B for nice room, fan, and hot water. Beautiful grounds. You definately need to book in advance.
Off the water just behing the first row Andaman Sunflower has rooms from 500-1100B. Red Snapper has some in that range. There's a few new places too. Angel was advertising rooms for 400baht but these are well back from the beach.
