At that time in the morning, traffic from the city should be very light - especially heading "out" as opposed to "in". If you book a taxi from Silom/Sukhumvit it shouldn't take more than 35 minutes to get to the international airport - which means you can stay in town for your last night with an infinite variety of cheap accommodation without having to move to to the outskirts.
Just a thought.

M Place Service Apartment good value for your money, good location in the City Center on the intersection of main street between Vibhavadee-Rangsit Road and Suthisarn Road. Not far from Mo Chit or Chatuchak (about 5 minutes)
