hi everyone
having travelled a fair amount to se asia,namely tahi laos viet cam,i have just booked a flight back to bkk(itchy feet!!)...this trip i am planning to travel to malaysia and indonesia.could anyone give me an idea what i will get for my pound?.i have heard it is fairly cheap in indonesia,but i'm not not really sure about malaysia..gratefull for any replys

Indonesia is on the whole very cheap, similar to Thailand or Laos. There are of course somewhat more expensive places within the country (e.g. Bali). Malaysia I found more expensive than other SEA countries, so budget a bit more for that. Alcohol is pretty expensive in both countries especially in Malaysia.
