Safe accomadation/trek in chiang mai

    I am planning trip in July. We really want to do a trek, probably 2N3D in chiang mai.

    So 2 questions....

    need a place to stay in Chang Mai, i have read quite bit bout bags being stolen whilst on the trek. Where is a good place?

    And what companies to avoid for the actual trek? And the best 1s stil on a budget?
