what's the best way to find a store to buy a pair of reading glasses in bangkok? i'm assuming that they're cheaper there than here in the states?? i have really bad eye sight w/ a slight astigmatism, so would try to get them as thin as possible. any idea of the turn around time and cost?
A great place to get glasses in Bangkok is MBK department store -- walking distance from the National Stadium stop on the Skytrain. You can get same day turnaround if you're in a rush - the range of frames available is excellent. They're certainly cheaper than in Australia, so I'd guess cheaper than in the US as well.
